曲舒文，暨南大学新闻与传播学院副教授，硕士生导师。本硕博分别毕业于西南财经大学、四川大学及香港中文大学。曾任教于香港中文大学文化研究系，暨南大学深圳旅游学院英语系，2019年调入暨南大学新闻与传播学院工作，2020年获聘“暨南双百英才”杰青第二层次岗位。文章发表在Social Semiotics, Cultural Sudies, Information, Communication and Society,《文艺研究》，《文艺理论研究》，《文化研究》等A&HCI, SSCI和CSSCI期刊。主持国家哲学社科青年项目，深圳市哲社科“十三五”规划项目及广州市社科联等课题。
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Communication at Jinan University, and is also the Co-Investigator on the MUSICSTREAM project. I did my PhD on Chinese female rock musicians, in Cultural Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015. My major academic interest has been about music and sounds, including popular music, music technology and communication, gender studies, voice/voicing studies and sound studies. I have published articles in Social Semiotics, Cultural Sudies, Information, Communication and Society, Journal of Popular Music Studies, and Space and Culture. My recent researches explore the platformisation of music, and its impacts on music production, distribution and consumption, with a particular interest in the issues of everyday music experience and human flourishing/wellbeing. I welcome graduate students who have genuine interests and strong motivation in exploring world of music and sounds, and its complicated but delicate relationship to culture, media and society at large.
