本专业依托暨南大学新闻与传播学院、国际学院、外国语学院的优势资源，旨在培养熟练掌握英语，通晓新闻传播理论，熟悉新闻传播规律，掌握媒介传播技能，精通新闻业务，具有开放的国际视野，能够适应国际新闻传播实践需要的复合型人才。本专业用全英语授课，授课教师来自于本学院具有全英授课资格的教师及海外具有新闻从业或学术背景的专业人士。

本专业的毕业生不仅具有坚实的英语语言基础，良好的中英文表达和写作技能，同时具备采、写、编、评、译、制等国际新闻业务能力，能够满足全球化背景下跨国传媒机构、国际组织、涉外机构的要求，从事新闻传播和跨文化交流工作，成为具有国际竞争力的高水平专业人才。

International JournalismProgram

Objectives: This program aims to turn out highly-qualifiedprofessionals in journalism with an international view and solid knowledge in world media landscape.Graduates of the programwill be proficient in English language and equipped with professional skills innews production and translation which empower them to work as reporters, editors and translators ininternational newsorganizations or be engaged in foreign-relatedfield.

Requirements:
